The course will benefit:
HR specialists and managers who are responsible for training others

Purpose:
Training is a specialist activity that has special skills to be applied. To obtain maximum benefit from investment in training and development it is important that courses are designed using appropriate methods, and delivered in the way that will be most effective. This workshop provides the theoretical background to workshop design and practice. It shows delegates how best to facilitate and deliver training workshops.

An optional Second Day takes the delegates through the detail design for a specific workshop.

How to apply the theory to workshop design and delivery

How to use Psychometric Tests in designing workshops

How to apply texture and pace to a workshop

OPTIONAL DAY 2 – DESIGNING A SPECIFIC WORKSHOP
The delegates will apply the new skills obtained in Day 1 to a specific workshop. In particular they will:

Set out the aims and objectives and then design the programme

Plan the programme

Choose appropriate styles of delivery and visual aids

Produce a workshop “Brochure” for use in intern promotion

A second video recorded session will reinforce learning from the Day 1 Session and allow delegates to refine their techniques
